Amerigo Vespucci’s Voyage: A Themed Hotel Room

Recently, we had the pleasure of collaborating with a boutique hotel to create a series of themed rooms inspired by the lives of famous Florentine historical figures. For the room dedicated to Amerigo Vespucci, the renowned Italian explorer, we drew inspiration from his groundbreaking voyages across the Atlantic Ocean.

A Seafaring Adventure

Upon entering the Amerigo Vespucci room, guests are immediately immersed in a nautical ambiance. The resin flooring, expertly crafted to resemble the vast expanse of the ocean, sets the stage for an unforgettable journey. A custom-made bed, shaped like a majestic sailing vessel, invites guests to embark on an imaginary voyage, while a captivating mural on the right wall showcases an antique map charting Vespucci’s legendary routes.

Delving into the Depths

The oceanic theme extends into the bathroom, where the resin flooring is adorned with vibrant coral reefs, reminiscent of the unexplored depths of the sea. This immersive experience is further enhanced by LED lighting beneath the bed, casting an ethereal glow that mimics the moonlight shimmering on the ocean waves.

A Touch of Authenticity

To add a touch of authenticity, we adorned the headboard wall with a mesmerizing illustration of a towering wave, reminiscent of the mighty swells that Vespucci encountered during his voyages. Jute cushions, reminiscent of the sacks used to transport goods on ships, complete the nautical aesthetic, providing a sense of comfort and texture.
