A Tale of Two Rooms: Embracing Versatility and Ambiance
In this captivating gourmet restaurant project, we meticulously designed two distinct spaces, each exuding its unique charm:
Ground Floor: Where Casual Meets Chic
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a bicolored black and oak trapezoid bar, its sleek lines drawing the eye. Behind the bar, a mesmerizing display of bottles takes center stage, set against a backdrop of gold-accented shelves. To the left, a wall of shattered mirrors reflects the vibrant energy of the room, while a built-in oak shelf offers a cozy perch for casual bites. Illuminating the scene is a triangular pendant lamp, its geometric pattern casting a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow.
Upper Floor: A Culinary Oasis
Ascending the resin-coated black stairs, embellished with gold dust, guests are ushered into the restaurant’s pièce de résistance – the upper dining area. Here, we reimagined the seating arrangement, introducing custom-designed furniture that harmonizes with the room’s ambiance. A luminous liquor cabinet serves as a focal point, positioned between two main tables adorned with inviting benches. Panoramic windows frame the space, offering breathtaking views that complement the culinary artistry.
A Canvas for Artistic Expression
To further enhance the dining experience, we collaborated with a renowned Norwegian artist, who crafted five captivating artworks using broken tiles – a nod to the Spanish tradition of trencadis. These masterpieces adorn the walls, adding a touch of cultural intrigue and visual delight.
Completing the Ensemble: A Symphony of Light and Texture
Triangular plasterboard sails gracefully descend from the ceiling, their embedded spotlights casting a warm, diffused glow. This innovative design element adds a touch of modernity and airiness to the space, perfectly complementing the Italian modern style aesthetic.
